At Bradshaw Primary School we believe that positive relationships underpin a strong and inclusive school culture. Our school provides a calm, safe, and purposeful environment where high expectations of behaviour support every child’s learning, wellbeing and personal development. Driven by our core values of being Kind, Honest, Active, Responsible and Respectful, we strive to make excellence a habit in everything we do.

Our unique Behaviour Curriculum is explicitly taught and embedded across all aspects of school life, ensuring children understand what good behaviour looks like, sounds like and feels like. We use a consistent approach to identify, teach, model, and practise specific "Bradshaw Behaviours". These include Star Sitting to encourage active listening, Wonderful Walking to maintain a calm atmosphere, and being Delightful Diners who use their best manners and indoor voices. By celebrating Excellent Engagement and Purposeful Play, we help children develop the self-control and respect needed to make positive choices.

We maintain an "Ambition for All," ensuring our expectations and support are tailored to meet the individual needs of every pupil. To support emotional health, our approach includes self-regulation strategies, ELSA support and play therapy to ensure every child feels safe and happy. Our ultimate goal is to nurture active, responsible citizens who take pride in their achievements and contribute positively to their community and wider society.
