Equality Objectives

Our Equality Objectives are:
- To promote cultural awareness and understanding, celebrating a wide range of cultures, traditions and religious beliefs within our school community.
- To ensure positive and diverse representation across the curriculum, so that pupils see themselves reflected in their learning and develop respect and empathy for others.
- To review and improve our curriculum and practices, identifying and addressing any unconscious bias to ensure equality of experience and outcomes for all pupils.
Compliance with the Equality Act
Bradshaw complies with the Public Sector Equality Duty as set out in the Equality Act 2010 and SEND Regulations 2014. We give due regard to all of the protected characteristics.

Equality in Our Curriculum
Equality and diversity are embedded across all areas of school life. Through our curriculum, assemblies and enrichment opportunities, children learn to value difference, challenge stereotypes and develop an understanding of their role in modern Britain.
Our work in equality and diversity supports British values and prepares pupils to be respectful, informed and active citizens.
